In memorium to a dear friend and mentor to so many, Professor and Chef extraordinaire Jules Pernell, who left us way too soon but so much the better for having known him.  I’m betting he’s cooking up a storm in Heaven’s kitchen, which is fully stocked with truffles of all flavors and types. Jules is missed.

Biscuit Miller – Black Eyed Peas and Cornbread
Robert Cray – Chicken in the Kitchen
Kenny Neal – Old Friends
Charley Patton – Oh Death

Freddie Vanderford – I Still Miss Somebody

Thanks to all who contributed so generously to WUSC's fundraiser... I'm still a wee bit behind the pledge I made for contributions to my show, so if you were thinking you wanted to make a contribution, it is not too late... give me a call during the show and we can set up a donation - or use the University of South Carolina's secure donation server  (link from www.wusc.sc.edu then click on support in the black menu line and follow the directions).

Thank you again for listening and for your support. We appreciate YOU!
