Thanks, Alison! While not a sure cure for the Blues, being "wise" to the ways of the world will certainly prevent or mitigate a lot of potential emotional damage to us women... there are so many pitfalls that can be avoided - and the fewer missteps the better - Sippie Wallace was right about that and about "not advertising your man" lest some other woman take him away - Kansas Katie said the same thing in her song, Deep Sea Diver.
