The Blues Moon Radio Show Tuesday, July 7, 2009

This edition of the Blues Moon with Clair DeLune is dedicated, with love, to my niece - Flair DeLune (better known to her family and friends as Annie) - who passed away July 5 after a brave fight against cancer.

I hope you hear the show, Annie... you are loved and missed, angel.

Tonight's show opens with a surprise guest, the Reverend Marv Ward. His new CD has debuted, Love Like You Never Been Burned, and is available on www.cdbaby.com. He'll be appearing this Friday at the Greenwood Blues Cruise (in Greenwood, S.C. USA). It's a weekend of Blues, BBQ and fun! Hope you can go. Here is what Shrimp City Slim has to say about it:

Thanks for listening to the Blues Moon with Clair DeLune, dedicated this week to little Flair DeLune. Annie, although I'll always remember you as a 12-year-old girl doing a fine job of announcing on the Blues Moon as Flair, you get on up to heaven and start talking me up... it might take a while to persuade the gatekeeps to let me slide on through, angel, and I'm looking forward to dj'ing with you again - sorry we missed our beach trip.

Lots of love,
Aunt Clair
