Flashback to 1972! Tuesday is Bluesday on Blues Moon Radio

Blues Moon Radio show
"Tuesday is Bluesday"
June 13, 2017

Tonight we flash back to the year 1972 - a life-changing and special year in the life of your host. We'll play songs I was listening to in that era - from LPs (yes, those big, flat, grooved, black vinyl discs with music on BOTH sides that required a phonograph, amp and speakers to play - sometimes a pre-amp if you had a great system! Gasp. I'm old - but I would not trade a minute of my time, so that's okay with me!).

We'll also feature - in that mix - the Artist of the Month, presented thanks to our fine friends at Papa Jazz, Howlin' Wolf.

Then our AoTW - Artist(s) of the Week, presented by our fine friends at Word of Mouth Productions org are some June birthday celebrants:

18- Sara Martin (1884)Gonna Ramble Blues
19-Jerry McCain (1930)My Next Door Neighbor

Later, we'll saunter back to the present day and celebrate a few of the artists who are playing at the upcoming Greenwood Blues Cruise in July: Ceasar (whom you can hear Thursdays at the Rooftop Pizza Blues Jam on Rosewood), Blues DeLuxe, who will be at Delaney's in Five Points Friday, and national recording artist Studebaker John.

Enjoy the show... playlists we'll choose from:
