Blues Moon Radio Show Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2015 - including promos for Carolina Downhome Blues Festival

Good Tuesday-Bluesday, y'all!

Exciting week! My book came out yesterday (South Carolina Blues on Arcadia Publishing)...

... and I'll be signing copies at several places around Columbia (check my FB pages).

And we have the Carolina Downhome Blues Festival coming up October 1-3.

Tonight's show features some of the wonderful contemporary artists featured at the show, and next week's show will feature even more!

Tonight's playlist (first six are appearing at CDHBF) includes a tip of the yarmulke to Yom Kippur - the Jewish holiday that involves asking for and granting forgiveness - I love the spirit of it - forgiveness does not mean one was not hurt, it means one wants to move on and not allow the old hurts to cripple one.

Also, we'll play some Lazer Lloyd from "the Old Country" - and even more great music after that - here's the list:

Finally: here are some links to the musicians who will be playing at the CDHBF who are on tonight's show...
