Blues Moon Radio Playlist for Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2012

Tonight we begin with a tribute to one of the Kings of Blues - literally... B. B. King had a birthday on Saturday and we are treating you to a series of some of his best music (trust me, there is lots more we won't have time to play - so check out all his recordings...).

B.B. King:
Every Day I Have the Blues
You Done Lost Your Good Thing
Walkin' and Cryin' (recording data from the recording studio session held in 1950 can be found here: http://www.706unionavenue.nl/70661168 )
Guess Who
The Thrill is Gone

Sonny Boy Williamson - Mr. Downchild and cuts from KFFA (King Biscuit Flour Hour)

Nappy Brown - Lemon Squeezin' Daddy

Doug Sahm - I Don't Believe
Eddie Taylor - Bad Boy

We'll finish up with a few suprises, including a little music from Nita B - who graced us with a performance this past weekend at Mac's On Main... fantastic, smoooooooth and sultry - she and her band made the time fly! Come back soon, Nita B and the boys...

Junior Wells / Tribute to SBW b/w Messing with the Kid
James Cotton / The Blues Keep Falling
Big Walter Horton / Rockin' My Boogie
