Classic Chicago Blues is the focus of this edition of Blues Moon Radio 1-22-19 6-8 p.m.

As we all know, from the tune originally composed by Kokomo Arnold, there is a music magnet that attracted so many Blues artists to the "city with big shoulders," the "Second City," the "Windy City" ... or... as we prefer to think of it as Blues fans - to Arnold's timeless anthem, "Sweet Home, Chicago."

Tonight we will pay partial tribute (we'll revisit later in the semester because we cannot fit everyone in tonight) to the artists who make this particular genre of Blues so vibrant.

Join us between 6-8 p.m. ET/USA and we'll treat you to well-known artists who helped inspire Rock'n'Roll and practically every other blues-based music to have emerged from that fertile source.

In what might be my final on-air semester as host of Blues Moon with Clair DeLune, join me in celebrating many of my favorite artists.

We'll finish up the show, as we will all semester, with music by Carolina musicians.

Our supporters:

As always we thank our long-time underwriters, who help bring great music to the Midlands all year around, because we could not imagine our show without their input and support:  Papa Jazz Record Shoppe, Word of Mouth Productions AND South Carolina Blues.
