Tonight! 10/02/18 Blues Moon Radio previews artists appearing at this weekend's Carolina Downhome Blues Fest -

We've been promoting the amazing Blues crawl festival in Camden for a few weeks now and this is the Tuesday-Bluesday before the GOOD NEWS days of the festival - Thursday, Oct. 4 - Saturday, Oct. 6 and a little morning "service"  on Sunday! Hold onto your fedoras! You can rest later.

Tonight's playlist has two sets of great artists who will be appearing live at the Carolina Downhome Blues Festival - brought to you by the Fine Arts Center of Kershaw County.

Our playlist is below ... and we'll kick off tonight's festivities with a song by the artistic director of this event, who charms audiences around the world with his engaging persona, "Shrimp City Slim"... the multi-talented Gary Erwin!

If we have time, we will pitch in a few more numbers -

But the most important thing is what is happening in Camden...

There will be 40+ shows during the festival - one price gets you into them all - and we've been featuring the lineup all month long on Blues Moon Radio.

Those who will be on tonight's show include:
Shrimp City Slim, Doug Deming and the Jewel Tones, Robert Lighthouse, 2015 NEA Fellow Drink Small, Mac Arnold with John Hartness, plus John in another iteration with the Blues Deluxe Band.

Wishing you peace, health, happiness and always HOPE,
Clair DeLune and Sonny Boy Red Jackson

Tune in each week from 6-8 p.m. ET/USA (-5 GMT)... www.wusc.sc.edu, then click listen. Sonny Boy Jackson and I will spin you something special~!
