Animals have the controls over at Blues Moon Radio Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2018

Sonny Boy Red Jackson is a beautiful German Shepherd Dog who was turned over to the shelter three times before I was fortunate enough to get him.

He has made my life pretty sunny, which was no small task considering he came after the softly padded paws of RockyDawg, Blues Defender, padded no more.

Our theme, Adopt-A-Pet and Farm Animal Extravaganza was decided once I learned from a dear friend that October is not only Adopt A Shelter Pet month, it is also Farm Animal month. So we've got a menagerie; plus, for filler, we'll celebrate and commemorate some birthday guys and gals.

Tuesday is always Bluesday over at Blues Moon Radio 6-8 p.m. for Blues Moon at wusc.sc.edu. Later, they'll hold the usual apres-show-jam at The Bluz Shak (invitation only so check with host Rick Marsh) follows.

See you on the radio!
And if you can vote early... g'haid. It was brought home to me yesterday how hard it has been and still IS for some people to vote - not only around the world, but here in America. Preserve your voice via your vote!

Wishing you peace, health, happiness and always HOPE,
Clair DeLune and Sonny Boy Red Jackson

Tune in each TuesdayBluesday from 6-8 p.m. ET/USA (-5 GMT)... www.wusc.sc.edu, then click listen. Sonny Boy Jackson and I will spin you something special~!

In the meantime, if you feel as if you need some great Blues music... don't forget our underwriters:
Our supporters:
As always we thank our long-time underwriters, who help bring great music to the Midlands all year around, because we could not imagine our show without their input and support:  Papa Jazz Record Shoppe, Word of Mouth Productions AND South Carolina Blues.
