Blues Moon Radio Show with Clair DeLune for Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2010

Tonight's show will feature several upcoming Blues opportunities for South Carolina Blues fans...

Drink Small will be talking about his early days in gospel, about his birthday appearances this Wed-Fri. and we'll hear an acappella gospel duet with Raiford Hinton that he and Drink performed for me last Friday at Drink's home.

Jeff Norwood took time away from his gig last week at the Hard Knox Grill in Cayce, S.C. to speak about his CD, Awendaw, and the upcoming Blues Bash in Charleston.

Featured artists who will be appearing at the Bash include Jeff, Davis Coen, Tony Fazio (w/Charlie Sayles), Eddie Kirkland, Shemekia Copeland, Big Bill Morganfield, Paul Geremia and Jeff Liberty and Mike Nazrenko.

Jeff and Mike appear on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Hard Knox... tune in for details... and we might even have a surprise guest... Harry Turner, music aficionado and historian extraordinaire said he might drop by... pray for good parking!

Keep it tuned to the best in Blues and roots music each Tuesday at 6 p.m. - on WUSC-FM and HD-1 Columbia... streaming via Internet at http://www.wusc.sc.edu/ (follow the links... RealAudio doesn't seem to stream it well... try I-Tunes or the MS Windows Media Player...
