Blues Moon kicks off Tuesday Jan 16th at 6 p.m. ET/USA

We're kicking off the covers and coming out of our hibernation after winter hiatus. Rested, never bested, and ready to be tested on our Blues lore!

Come along with the Blues Moon Radio gang and tune in each Tuesday this spring semester as we learn more about historic Blues and some of the best of the newer music and its artists. Simply tune in a little before 6 p.m. ET/USA (same as Atlanta/NYC time zones) at www.wusc.sc.edu, then click LISTEN ... or go through iTunes/College&University then WUSC to tune in - if it balks, retry - sometimes the streams we have get filled - so try early to assure a slot! It's a college station that prides itself on playing unheard music, so you might hear something you like that you'd never find elsewhere while you wait.

We've got some fun themes for the semester, which are based on a crazy calendar of weird holidays we found with some normal tributes (like MKL) and some very wacky ones, too - just for fun!

The first show of the second half of our 28th year is a serious tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., followed by a celebration of automobiles, and I put the show together so long ago I very honestly forgot the connection between that date and automobiles, but hey - who doesn't love a good car song?

As we enter this new year, I wish you grace, all the blessings of health, happiness and enough wealth to get you through - i.e., a life that won't give you the blues (depression) - just don't forget to come get your Blues MUSIC here every Tuesday - it's the music that lifts you out of the mood-blues. Win-Win, babies.
